One morning when he woke up in bed, Samuel found himself transformed into a GIGANTIC HIPPO.
Overnight, Samuel was suddenly barely able to fit in his bed, into his bedroom or his shoes. He suddenly weighed 528 kilos, could only see part of his nose in the mirror and, worst of all, he suddenly had a moustache! How could he go to school as well?
A colourful and humorous metaphor of growth, with the unmistakable mark of the author / illustrator Catarina Sobral.

Catarina Sobral is an illustrator and communication designer, who has worked in the areas of printmaking and animation cinema. She is the author of the illustrated books GREVE (Special Mention in the National Illustration Award), ACHIMPA (voted Best Children and Youth Book, by the Portuguese Society of Authors (SPA)), O MEU AVÔ (winner of the International Illustration Award at the Bologna Book Fair in 2014 and selected for the Illustrators Exhibition in Bologna Book Fair) and TÃO TÃO GRANDE, among others, Catarina Sobral also works for the publishing company, Orfeu Negro issues, and has produced some book trailers for the Orpheus Mini collection.
