Guided visit with curator Aleksandra Kedziorek

To mark the opening of the "Oskar Hansen: Open Form" exhibition, in the galleries of the Serralves Museum of Contemporary Art, the curator Aleksandra Kedziorek will lead us on a guided tour of the exhibition. This is an umissable opportunity to learn about the unique work of this Polish architect, for whom an extensive research programme has been developed that led to this exhibition. A significant itinerary, both for the history of the practice and teaching of architecture, and also due to the influences that it generated for the history of contemporary art and performance.

Aleksandra Kedziorek is an art historian, a coordinator of the Oskar Hansen Research Project at the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw and a curator of the Oskar and Zofia Hansen House in Szumin, Poland. She has participated in international research projects on architecture history launched at ETH Zurich and the University of Campinas, São Paulo, Brazil, and contributed as a curatorial and research assistant to exhibitions on modern and contemporary architecture in the SPOT. Gallery in Poznan, the Fourth Design Festival in Lódz and the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw. She co-edited (with Lukasz Ronduda) Oskar Hansen: Opening Modernism. On Open Form Architecture, Art and Didactics (Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw, 2014) and published in architectural magazines, including Architektúra & urbanizmus (Bratislava).
