Entrepreneurs with business ideas, start-ups or companies undergoing expansion can apply for the Super Bock / Serralves National Creative Industries Award. This is an opportunity to gain access to training, strengthen the contacts network and attracting national and international funding.
Now in its 9th edition, this initiative aims to distinguish, support and promote Portuguese projects, in one of the competition’s four categories:
- Architecture and Visual Arts
- Music and Performing Arts
- Creative Content and New Media
- Tourism and Heritage.
Since 2008, this initiative by Super Bock and the Serralves Foundation has supported more than 60 projects which have generated more than 350 jobs.
Interested applicants can submit their application online until March 22, via the website, www.industriascriativas.com.
The jury will evaluate the project using a set of criteria such as differentiation in terms of creativity and innovation, as well as economic potential and levels of employability. After the selection stage, there will be mentoring for the finalists who will draw up and send their Business Cases.
In addition to all these advantages, in the 9th edition instead of one prize, there will be three cash prizes and the Born from Knowledge distinction, which will be awarded by the National Innovation Agency (ANI), the Prize’s institutional partner. The winner of the 1st prize will represent Portugal at the international Creative Business Cup competition in Copenhagen, Denmark.
All citizens aged over 18 (individuals or group applications), as well as small and micro-enterprises in an expansion phase with their registered office in Portugal, can apply for the Super Bock / Serralves National Creative Industries Prize.
The winner will be anniunced in July.
