PERFORMART – Associação para as Artes Performativas em Portugal – The Association for the Performing Arts in Portugal, aims to promote the multiple forms of cultural and artistic manifestation, both nationally and internationally.
The mission of PERFORMART includes, among other things, the promotion of efforts and initiatives that allow the recognition and healthy and sustainable development of the performing arts sector and its professionals, at the most diverse levels; by the structuring of working networks among its associates; by representing the interests of its members before national and international institutions; ad by the promotion of a joint position regarding significant issues for the sector and its professionals.
The association aims to create areas for analysis and reflection, organising and promoting work groups, seminars, studies of a scientific nature, in addition to encouraging the circulation of shows by its associates and the establishment of partnerships among the different members and other associations.
