ANDRÉ GUEDES

André Guedes was born in 1971, in Lisbon: His work frequently begins from the context and space in which it is presented, being situated at the point of convergence between installation and performance. "Other trees, another switch, another smoker and a prepared room" are the new projects now presented at Serralves, from which the work "prepared room" is a collaboration with the French choreographer Martine Pisani, that will create unexpected situations in the exhibition spaces and gardens, giving rise to new levels of interaction and dialogue with the public.
