CINEMA CYCLE "NO MORE REALITY": "L’Eden et Après" by Alain Robbe-Grillet

L’Eden et Après (1970), the fourth feature film of Alain Robbe-Grillet, proposes a sort of hallucinatory and obscure journey, where we follow the deadly and risky adventures of a group of students, and more particularly of the young Violette, in the enigmatic Eden Café, and later by the Tunisian desert. In this work, the writer and filmmaker Alain Robbe-Grillet breaks with the classical narrative codes, presenting a history full of reflexes, duplications and false appearances, following a ordination more close to the dream than the reality.
