This masterclass will cover different stages of Edgar Pera's work, focusing on his working methods, and in particular his film diaries, understood as a creative, documentary, essayistic and fictional form of building archives. The director’s "cine-conferences" almost always have a performance-based character, comprising live comments about the film excerpts presented and the context of his work in the light of theories, such as the cinema of attractions and the sense of amazement caused by new media, the trans-realism and the imaginative spectator, or cine-cosmopolitanism and the global spectator
