The Ephemeral Transfigurations series emphasises the recognition of the diversity of experiences within the Serralves landscaped gardens, and encompasses necessary initiatives that will annual our perception of a static place. A young artist is invited every year to intervene in the same location: the patio of the Estate.
The Creation of the World, a project by Carla Cruz, on the basis of a citation from Genesis “…made man in His own image, after His own likeness” questions the notion of citizenship and our active or passive participation in the construction of society.
