This extensive exhibition focuses on recent work by Harald Klingelhöller, a Düsseldorf-based artist, while also including some pieces dating from twenty years back. Klingelhöller is known for works generated by the crossing of sculpture and language: linguistic terms are used as a generic code to determine the shape of the individual pieces – thus they consist in creating a place between the presence of the sculptural body made of materials often uncommon to sculpture such as paper and cardboard combined with stone and steel, and the absence of things referred to by letters and words.
