Júlia Ventura uses photography as the general medium of her work, exploring the very identity of photography and its relationship with painting. Her works are divided into several formats: self-portraits, sequences of fingerprints, wallpapers and huge enlargements of images of the sea. This exhibition shows a selection of her works produced over the last few years together with recent works that were presented in Portugal for the first time.
