KINO - Showcase of German Language Cinema

From 27 January to 4 February 2016 the thirteenth edition of KINO - Showcase of German Language Cinema will take place in Portugal. Coordinated by the Goethe-Institut - Portugal, in collaboration with local partners, the festival occurs in Lisbon, Porto and Coimbra, and showcases the latest trends in German fiction cinema, as well as a carefully selected programme of short films and documentaries. This programme will be complemented by special Showcases for Schools, aimed at KINO’s young audience.KINO – Showcase of German Language Cinema returns to Porto and the Serralves Foundation, on 30 and 31 January, in the Serralves Auditorium, as an extension of the Lisbon programme, through exhibition of four films from the current panorama of German cinema, including, as the opening film, the latest work by the director Christoph Hochhäusler, The Lies of the Victors.
