OLEACEAE IN THE PARK - THEMATIC VISIT

One of the best-known symbols of Serralves Park is an olive tree that’s about 1500 years old. This is the starting point to get to know this extraordinary living being - the olive tree – that pertains to the Oleaceae family. Come see this tree and other species of this family in the Park, such as the ash, wild privet and false holly, in a journey guided by the species’ unique characteristics.
