PAULA REGO
This exhibition contains a selection of Paula Rego’s works produced after 1996, focusing particularly upon the relationship between her painting and drawing, and on the construction of idiosyncratic fictional situations. For the first time, the artist presents her preliminary sketches of her paintings, and also a new series of works specifically conceived for this exhibition, based upon a theme in which the city of Porto is a reference.
