ITINERARY, 11:30-12:30With José Manuel Grosso-Silva (Researcher at CIBIO-InBIO - Research Centre on Biodiversity and Genetic Resources)Butterflies, ladybirds, ants, flies, mosquitoes, grasshoppers, crickets, bees, dragonflies ... There is an overwhelming diversity of insects! They are found in all corners of the planet (although few are found in the sea) and perform the most diverse functions: as predators, pollinators and decomposers, among others. This itinerary will discuss their importance in global terms, and also their role in the urban environment and the best means of promoting their diversity.
