THERE IS LIFE IN THE PARK! - VASCULAR FLORA

ITINERARY, 11:30-12:30With Teresa Matos Fernandes (Researcher at CIBIO-InBIO - Research Center on Biodiversity and Genetic Resources)Serralves Park with its 8,000 specimens of trees and shrubs, encompassing about 230 species and varieties, plays a key role in the green structure of the city of Porto. The Park’s diversity of flora, including native and exotic species, combined with its good state of conservation, creates the conditions for tremendous biodiversity. During the Itinerary it will be possible to address this great variety of species as a starting point to explore various ecological concepts and curiosities.
