To mark the 100th anniversary of filmmaker Shirley Clarke, we will screen her famous portrayal of a black homosexual prostitute, that Ingmar Bergman considered to be "the most extraordinary film” he had ever seen. The director and her team spent 12 hours in a hotel room with Jason, and produced a moving testimony about the theatricality of life that brings us from laughter to tears (and back again).
