Serralves at the Book Fair in Belém

The Serralves Foundation will be taking part, for the second time, in the Festa do Livro no Palácio de Belém, which since 2016 has celebrated Portuguese-language literature, bringing together authors, publishers and cultural institutions in one of the country’s most iconic venues.

From 17 to 20 September 2026, Serralves will present a selection of publications reflecting its editorial activity in the fields of contemporary art, architecture, cinema, critical thought and nature, showcasing the work of artists, curators and thinkers who have shaped the Foundation’s programme.

Over four days, the programme will include book presentations, concerts, debates, book signings and much more, in a celebration of reading, artistic creation and critical thinking.
With free admission, the Festa do Livro no Palácio de Belém has become a landmark event on Portugal’s literary and cultural scene, having welcomed more than 140,000 visitors across its eight editions.
