'Thirteenth screening in the film programme Manoel de Oliveira e o Cinema Português 3, held in conjunction with the third part of the exhibition of the same name. The screening will feature Edgar Pêra’s “Manual de Evasão LX94” (1994), with the filmmaker in attendance to introduce the film.

Trans-Temporal Investigation. Fiction developed from the exchange of ideas among three participants: Terence McKenna (Dok Xaman), Rudy Rucker (Cyber Magus), Robert Anton Wilson (Neuro-Investigator). Film theme: The Maps of Time, the perception of Time in a city like Lysbon, ways to escape the Lysbon routine. Plot: Three inhabitants of a parallel universe (San Francisko) travel to Lisbon to kollaborate on an experimental investigation. Drawing on the magyc of the plant world, the scientists and magicians alter the rhythms of life for the inhabitants of Lysbon, partikularly the routines of the bureaukrats and workers at the Time Faktory.
