Fifth screening of the film and talks programme Modos de Rever: O Cinema Sob Influência (da Pintura). The screening, dedicated to the theme of Symbolism, will feature Akira Kurosawa's "Dreams” (1990), with the presence of programmer and cultural manager Jorge Sobrado and curator and art historian Filipa Oliveira, moderated by Isabel Lopes Gomes.

One of Akira Kurosawa's final works, Dreams is organized into eight visually rich vignettes inspired by the director's own dreams—fox weddings and vanished orchards, ghosts of soldiers, a stroll through Van Gogh's paintings, nuclear nightmares, and a utopia of watermills—meditating on childhood, art, mortality, and humanity's troubled relationship with nature.
