Névoa-Nada
Between poetic fiction and the activation of memory, Névoa-Nada is a solo performance in which the artist Gustavo Ciríaco dives into the sensitive layers of experience, reflecting on artistic creation as a gesture of sharing and resistance. Inspired by the translation of the world made by poets and the strength of their discourse, the work traces a sensorial and biographical path through historical events and political transformations of the last decades.Névoa-Nada places the power of fabulation in the construction of the human narrative at its core. Of what we live and imagine, what roots us and shapes our future? Of all that surrounds and flows, what tells our story? Which words build us and shield us from oblivion?
Névoa-Nada is part of the celebration program of 30 years of Ciriaco’s work.

Gustavo Ciríaco (Rio de Janeiro, 1969) is a Brazilian artist whose practice moves across dance, visual arts, exhibition-making, and site-responsive interventions. His work creates experiential situations in which the choreographic becomes a way of sensing, inhabiting, and reimagining places, with a particular interest in the museum as a public and relational space. Through performances, installations, open-air events and participatory formats, he explores the relationship between movement, perception and space. His projects unfold as open frameworks where local geographies, sensory experience, and speculative imagination intersect, inviting audiences to become active participants in the unfolding of the work. His ongoing research focuses on artistic legacies and on the relationships between body, landscape, and memory, exploring the politics of encounter as a space for the emergence of other narratives.
