Dorothy lives on a farm in Kansas. One day, when Dorothy and her little dog Toto run away from a mean neighbor, they are swept up by a tornado that carries them to the magical land of Oz. Longing to return to her homeland, Dorothy sets out for the City of Oz, where a great wizard lives. However, on her way there, she meets a Scarecrow who needs a brain, a Tin Man who wants a heart, and a Cowardly Lion who desperately needs courage. They all hope the Wizard of Oz will help them before they are caught by the Wicked Witch of the West... A film that sparked the imagination, "The Wizard of Oz" is one of the defining moments of classic Hollywood cinema, showcasing the use of color and cinema’s ability to create and bring worlds to life.
