Serralves at the Book Fair in Belém

For the first time, the Serralves Foundation will take part in the Belém Palace Book Fair, an initiative of His Excellency the President of the Portuguese Republic, which since 2016 has celebrated Portuguese-language literature, bringing together authors, publishers, and cultural institutions in one of the country’s most iconic settings.

From 25 to 28 September 2025, Serralves will present a selection of publications that reflect its editorial activity in the fields of contemporary art, architecture, cinema, thought, and nature – showcasing the work of artists, curators, and thinkers who have shaped the Foundation’s programming.

Over four days, the Fair will feature book launches, concerts, debates, book signings, and much more, in a vibrant celebration of reading, artistic creation, and critical thinking.

With free admission, the Belém Palace Book Fair has become a landmark event in Portugal’s literary and cultural scene, having welcomed over 140,000 visitors across its seven editions.
